I collaborated with a San Francisco design agency to help Village Harvest, an organization that promotes the sharing of food within the community, with a branding and marketing overhaul that included new logo design. One of their goals was to communicate the company’s mission to build stronger connections through sharing food with others.
First, I familiarized myself with the values and visions of the non-profit through interviews with the organization founders. Next, I researched and learned about the volunteers who participated in the giving/sharing culture of the organization. As a designer, my goal was to find the best way to communicate the value of Village Harvest to the community and to design a logo that reflected this. Deliverables included mood boards, early sketches of the logos, and a high-fidelity prototype of the final logo.
